Life Is A Game And You Are Winning!

If you were to consider your life as a game, what is the big game you are playing for right now?

This is something that I learned from Dave Buck, a Master Certified Coach and CEO of CoachVille, the largest social network for business and life coaches in the world. At the core of what he coaches, is the principle of playing life and seeing it as a winnable game rather than just a to-do list.

This shift in mindset was a huge game changer for me and many of my clients.

It’s so easy to get caught up in life and take both yourself and your dreams WAY too seriously. Often when this happens you get caught up in the to-dos and forget about the real vision behind your dreams and why you wanted to pursue them in the first place.

Plus, it’s not fun and gets old super quick! lol

When you start to transform from a ‘to-do list’ or ‘worker’ type mindset to playing your life as a game, not only is it way more fun, you are able to win life in amazing, new, and inspiring ways.

So, let me ask you this… what is the big game that you are playing for right now in your life? And more specifically what’s the game you are playing for over the next 3 months?

Perhaps it is related to your career, relationships, health, or fully embracing who you are. Whatever it is be sure to write it down and get clear on what your game is.

This is really important. If you want to take it a step further, email me your game. By telling someone else what we are playing for it adds an extra layer of commitment to yourself and sends that intention out to the universe.

Next, why is this game important to you? What would happen if you won this game?

A few other questions to consider is what would winning look like in this game? Or what would it look like to play at an elite level?

Once you have figured out your game, or maybe you are already playing a wicked game but didn’t really think of it like that until now, how can you bring the spirit of play into it and make it more fun?

This is the big thing I’d love for you to get out of this if nothing else… how can you bring in the spirit of play into your life?

Some examples of what you can ask yourself…

  • Where can I let myself be a beginner?
  • Is there an experiment where I can try something new?
  • Is there a way I can make it more fun?
  • Can I find a way to create a reward for getting results?

Get creative. Have fun with it.

Let me know if you have any questions and don’t forget to send me an email with your game for the next 3 months.
